The Sushmita Sen and SRK starrer Dulha Mil Gaya is finally ready for release, after an extended shooting schedule spanning over years. While the grapevine was abuzz that the delay happened because SRK had lost interest in the film and was not giving dates, producer Viveck Vaswani said, “He had nothing to do with the delay. First my dad was hospitalised and he expired. After that director Mudassar Aziz’ father died, then Fardeen’s father passed away. Everyone went on saying SRK was delaying the schedule, but he told me there is no need to clarify.”
And what is this about an extended guest appearance? “SRK has 52 minutes in the film but I am calling it an extended guest appearance because he is not charging a penny for the role,” said Viveck. “He is a great friend and he has done everything to see to it that the film works out great.”
